Hey kids, here's my top tracks of the past year. Some of them you're used to rocking out on the Embargo dancefloor to, some of them not so. It's by no means extensive and I'm sure there's a few I've missed. Let me know your thoughts, your personal favourites, and any you think I've missed out! I set a couple of rules, every track must have been released (officially or otherwise) this year, no artist is featured more than once and no remixer is featured twice either. This means that there are a few notably omissions such as the Doorly remix of Bonkers which is undoubtably Top 100 material but is neither my favourite Dizzee track or Doorly remix of this year. Similarly there would be more tracks by Jack Beats, Deadmau5, La Roux, Skream, Rusko and a few others if not but I've tried to keep it as broad as possible. Anyhow, here we go if anyones interested...

Every single media outlet in the world is calling these the new CSS. It's lazy but true. Except Le Corps Mince de Francoise have a far greater capacity to be Finnish, create etheral harmonies, ride bikes and add a gorgeous Oriental twist.





A more mellow moment from the undisputed king of neo-classical soul. If he's not the most played artist on mainstream radio next year then I'll start taking Blink 182 requests again...
